摘要:polycationsthatabsorbprotonsinresponsetotheacidificationofendosomescantheoreticallydisruptthesevesiclesviathe“protonsponge”effect.toexploitthismechanism,wecreatednanoparticleswithasegregatedcore−shellstructureforefficient,noncytotoxicintracellulardrugdelivery.cross-linkedpolymernanoparticlesweresynthesizedwithaph-responsivecoreandhydrophilicchargedshelldesignedtodisruptendosomesandmediatedrug/cellbinding,respectively.bysequesteringtherelativelyhydrophobicph-responsivecorecomponentwithinamorehydrophilicph-insensitiveshell,nontoxicdeliveryofsmallmoleculesandproteinstothecytosolwasachievedindendriticcells,akeycelltypeofinterestinthecontextofvaccinesandimmunotherapy.
