朊蛋白（prp）及其异常亚型，部分抵抗蛋白酶k（prpres），是传染性海绵状脑病（tses）的唯1特异性分子标志物，例如牛海绵状脑病（bse）或其人类形式，克雅氏病的新变种。

应用
将小瓶的内容物复溶在1ml水中。
对于prpc的蛋白质印迹分析，稀释至终浓度为1 μg/ml，并使用bsa作为封闭试剂。对于eia和流式细胞术，必须根据经验确定最佳工作（目前在0.1至1μg/ml之间）。
